Marvin Lee Crawford

Decatur ~ Marvin Lee Crawford, 85, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 15th, 2024 in Decatur.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21st, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Wilson Prairie Cemetery.

Marvin was born on April 21, 1939 to Henry Pinkley and Onie Mae (McIntire) Crawford in Shreveport, Louisiana. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for numerous years and was a member of Decatur Church of Christ. Martin was an expert in the field of pecan farming.  He won a wide array of awards in competitions throughout the state of Texas.  He was also an avid gardener, and loved to grow things.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his church and community members.
