FUNERAL: 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 3, 2007 at Coker-Hawkins Chapel with burial in Jones Town Cemetery with Rev. James Arrington to officiate. Family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
PALLBEARERS: Stoney Scott, Brandon Ford, Eric Brady, Mark Lee, Barry Lee, and Willy Lovejoy.
Marvin was born in Decatur on September 7, 1948 to Marvin Wallace and Velma Ham Ford. He married Paula Gayle Ford on November 21, 1967 in Porterville, California. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Wallace Ford, two brothers Joe and Danny Ford.
SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 40 years Paula Gayle Ford of Decatur, daughter, Shelly Lee and husband Mark of Decatur, sons, Sean Ford and wife Trina of Decatur, Steven Ford and wife Jennifer of Decatur, 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Ford, 3 sisters, Wanda Trice, Paula Gillis, Katie Lovejoy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
