The world is a little dimmer but there is a star brighter in the sky. I think of Aunt Penny and I think FUN. She knew how to live and taught us all the importance of embracing all the little special moments. She is already missed terribly.

My memories of Penny are from long ago when I grew up in that quiet Belton neighborhood on E 13th St. Although I knew her children, Jimmy was a dear childhood friend who later became my Best Man at my wedding. Penny was always very kind to me and accepted me into her home as if I was one of her own. And even though several years have gone by since that time, those special memories will stay with me always. I was very saddened to hear about the loss of this very special lady.

On behalf of my family,
my sincere condolences to Penny's family,

Steve Canava
