Decatur ~ Mary Lois Chambers, 95, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 13, 2013 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Nadine Throgmorton, Andrea Jensen, and Michaela Dotson will officiate.
Mary was born on July 29, 1918 to Benjamin and Katie (Bosher) Orr in Dallas, Texas. She was united in marriage to Joe Chambers on November 4, 1939 in Dallas.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Christine Hartley and husband Wayne of Decatur; her grandchildren, Joe Hartley and wife Candy of Ft. Hood, Sheila Smith and husband Shawn of Krum, Shonna Cole and husband Adam of Frisco; her great grandchildren, Brayden Hartley and Charlee Rose Hartley, Clayton Smith, Cheyenne Smith and Conway Smith, and Ryan Cole; other family members and a host of friends.
