BRIDGEPORT -- Mary Lydia Green, 96, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in Bridgeport.
Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Mary was born on November 25, 1912, the daughter of James Oliver and Sarah Jane Walker in Bridgeport. She married Frank Edward Green on January 21, 1940 in Madrid, Oklahoma. Mary was a bookkeeper and a teacher. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Jane Walker and her husband Frank Green.
Left to cherish her memory are: daughter, Martha Jane Toth of Salem, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Solaris Hospice.
