RHOME -- Mary Jo Griffin, 70, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 in Decatur.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Interment: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Bro. Dave Lester will officiate. Pallbearers: Sam Connally, Gary Arnold, Ronnie Smith, Larry Randolph, Monte Tedrow, Jimmy Tedrow
Mary Jo was born on October 7,1939 in Mundy,Texas, the daughter of Carl Albert and Zel Mary (White) Clark. She was a homemaker. She married Kenneth Frank Griffin on September 23, 1957 in Silver City, New Mexico.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her brothers, Carl Clark, Jr. and Jim Clark; and her sister, Bea Rasor.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her son, Kenneth Griffin of Rhome; her daughter, Mary Ann Pepper and husband Keith, Sr. of Rhome; grandchildren: Michelle Cernick and husband Reese of Twin Falls, Idaho, Keith Wayne Pepper II of Irving; 3 Great Grandchildren: Christopher, Autumn, and Aurora Cernick.
