Decatur ~ Mary Frances Motsenbocker, 83, went to be with our lord Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Decatur.

Graveside is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Fred Raney will officiate.

Mary was born on March 4, 1938 to Vonnie and Lucille (Chance) Abel in Paris, Texas. She was united in marriage to Joe Lee Motsenbocker on March 6, 1955 in Ida Lou, Texas. Mary was a retired Justice of the Peace in Wise County.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Joe Lee Motsenbocker; 3 sons, Stephen Douglas Motsenbocker of Decatur, Kenneth Motsenbocker of Paradise, and Johnny Motsenbocker of Paradise; 3 grandchildren, Jill Rivera and husband Ricardo, Kamilla Martinez and husband Juan, and Logan Motsenbocker and fiancé Kenneth; 3 great-grandchildren, Abel, Chloe, and Mila Rivera; her sister, Felecia Maxwell of Denton; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
