Decatur ~ Mary Ellen Richardson, 92, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Decatur.
Graveside is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Mary was born on August 14, 1927 to Oren and Claudia (McGowan) Coon in Loraine, Texas. She was a retired waitress, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Cotton Greer; her second husband, Carl Richardson; her daughter, Phyllis Creamer; and her sister, Edith Shields.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Stan Greer and wife Linda of Runaway Bay; her 5 grandchildren, Ronnie, Tammy, Cindy and husband Michael, Scott, and Angie; her 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor and husband Colton, Ty and wife Justine, and Kinley; her 2 great great-grandchildren, Sailor, and Gracie; her son in law, Robert Creamer of Decatur; her brother, Gary Coon of El Paso; extended family and a host of friends.
