Mary Lou Underhill

Paradise ~ Mary Lou Underhill, 83, went to be with our Lord Friday, November 17, 2023 in Paradise.

Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Prairie Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Jack Blankenship and Justin Malone will officiate. Pallbearers are Jonathan Patton, Daniel Patton, Jacob Patton, Bryan Williams, Roger Wooley, and Joel Underhill.

Mary was born on September 4, 1940 to Otis and Elsie (Brake) Bogan in Dequeen, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Bobby Underhill on July 12, 1957 in Keller. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lenette Williams; and her brother, Wayne Bogan.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Janise Patton and husband Joe of Argyle, Bryan “Keith” Underhill and Leah of Sedgwick, Kansas, and Shelise Wooley and husband Robbie of Paradise; 12 grandchildren, Melissa Williams, Bryan Williams, Gerry Wooley, Lance Wooley, Roger Wooley, Meghan Yancey, Daniel Patton, Jonathan Patton, Diana Patton, Jacob Patton, Aaron Underhill, and Joel Underhill; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Verna Cypert and husband Bob; her brothers, David Bogan and wife Cindy, Gerald Bogan and wife Cecilia, and Ricky Bogan and wife Juana; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
