Mary Lou Worthington

Aurora ~ Mary Lou Worthington, 91, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in Decatur.

Private service will be held.

Jimmy Withers will officiate.

Mary was born on February 14, 1929 to Lauman Dale and Lucinda (Church) Isett in Hewins, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Charles Wendell Worthington on December 17, 1947 in Fort Worth. Mary was a member at Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora and she was a teacher’s aide.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Worthington; her sister, Jeanne Matthew; and her step-father, Hubert Evans.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Donny Worthington and wife Peggy of Springtown and Mike Worthington and wife Mona of Irving; her daughter, Lynn Snead and husband Scott of Decatur; 6 grandchildren, Macy, David, John, Josh, Carly, and Mary; 8 great-grandchildren, Molly, Haley, Lilly, Kendall, Wyatt, Emery, Brodie, and Mason; extended family members and a host of friends.
