Mary Lou Mayhugh

Mansfield~ Mary Lou Mayhugh, 88, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Bridgeport.

Graveside will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at Emerald Hills Cemetery in Kennedale. Family will receive friends 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Mary was born on December 30, 1932 to Earl and Velma (Wyatt) Wilson in Avoca, Texas. She was a retired bookkeeper and a homemaker. Mary was united in marriage to Vernon Alton Mayhugh and together until his passing in March of 1990. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Gary Mayhugh; her daughter, Brenda Gail Mayhugh; her grandson, Matthew Matney; her brothers, Royce Wilson and Harry Wilson; her sisters, Francis Perry and Marie Moore.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Mayhugh Foil of Springtown, Alton Mayhugh and wife Connie of Saginaw, DeAnn Mayhugh Matney and husband Brett of Chico; her 7 grandchildren, Tara, Elizabeth, Brandy, Patrick, Nora, Stacey, and Tracey; her 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; her sister, Jeannie Rockmann of Burleson; her brother, Kenneth Wilson and wife Myrtle of Tow, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and a host of friends.
