Mary "Pug" Maurine Bratton
December 15, 1945 — November 3, 2020
Ranger ~ Mary M. “Pug” Bratton, 74, went to be with our Lord November 3, 2020 in Decatur.
Funeral will be 1:00 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Church of God in Ranger, Tx, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Revs. Janett & Clint Eaton will officiate. Pallbearers will include Elliott Mercer, Jason Evans, Michael Young, Armando Mercer, Jim Mercer and Steve Bunker.
Mary was born December 15, 1945 to R.L. and Susie Bratton in Eastland, Texas. She loved to serve others, and did so in career as a vocational nurse, and restaurant owner for many years. Mary was a member of the Ranger Church of God, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tina Mercer and husband Jim of Bridgeport; her son, David Allen Evans of Ranger; her grandchildren, Elliott, Erica, Armando, and Keelin Mercer all of Bridgeport, Jason Evans and wife Liz of Garland; her great-grandchildren, Elena, and Lilly Evans of Garland; her love of a sister, Linda Squire of Ranger; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
The Bratton family would like a special acknowledgement to show their gratitude to Dr. Robert DeLuca.
