Decatur ~ Matilde Ufret, 89, a retired home economics teacher, went to be with our Lord Thursday, June 5, 2015 in Decatur.
Memorial will be held at a later date.
Matilde was born on June 7, 1924 to Jose Monserrate Perdomo and Maria A. (Acevedo) Perdomo in San German, Puerto Rico. Matilde retired from teaching after 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Octavio Ufret.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sara Melear of Boyd, and Carmen Davis of Euless; grandsons, Roberto Arcelay of Lewisville, Javier Arcelay of Keller, and Neely Davis of New Braunsfels;
granddaughters, Rhonda Hester of Euless, and Donna Davis of Euless;
great- granddaughters, Haven Davis of Fort Worth, and Carly Hester of Euless; great-grandsons, Kyle Hester of Los Colinas and Jayden Arcelay of Keller; great-great grand-daughter, Aubrina Hester of Euless; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
