Decatur ~ Matthew Ryan Brown, 19, of Decatur went to be with his Lord March 2023.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 31st, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church in Decatur with burial at New Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

William Brooks will officiate. Pallbearers include Ethan Brown, Wyatt Brown, Brayden Brown, Christian Brown, Aiden Cross, Hunter George, Shane Tobias, and Chase Wallen. Honorary pallbearer is Robbie Brown.

Matthew was born November 16, 2003 to Christopher Lee and Michele Renee Brown in Decatur, Texas. He was a Decatur High School graduate and general merchandiser for Wal-Mart, also a member of Countryside Fellowship Church. Matthew was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to so many who will miss him dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Chris and Michele Brown of Decatur; 2 brothers, Garrett and Lucas Brown of Decatur; his grandparents, Robert and Ramona Brown of Decatur, and Don and Donna Brown of Decatur; great-grandmother, Loretta Garrett of Saginaw; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
