Fort Worth ~ Maxine Hardy, 88, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 30, 2012 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.
Maxine was born on April 26, 1924 to Walter and Sarah Southern in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Carl Hardy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Hardy; her grandson, Wes Hardy; her brother, Francis Southern; her sisters; Vashti Schribner and Wilma Allen.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Dayle Hardy and wife Sandy of Boyd, Wayne Hardy and wife Joyce of Boyd; her grandchildren, Halie Corning and husband Scott of Andover, Massachusetts, Ryan Hardy of Fort Worth, Kate Hardy of New York City, Leslie Maynard and husband Brian of Boyd; her great grandchildren, Madie, Monty, Caitlyn, Cora, and Silas; other family members and a host of friends.
