Krum ~ Mayes "Milo" Mitchell, 78, a retired plant foreman for Gifford Hill, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 08, 2012 in Corinth.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the family home, 1708 Santa Fe Trail, Krum.
Milo was born on April 1, 1933 in Dimmitt, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Milo was united in marriage to Alice Mitchell on July 8, 1963 in Hereford, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Mitchell and his sister, Bobbie Chester.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Mitchell and wife Dorothy of Denton, Steven Mitchell and wife Johnette of Collinsville, Jim Mitchell and wife Crystal of Krum; his daughters, Veta Fergueson and husband Lee of Elida, New Mexico, Lynn Redder and husband Eric of Lindsay, Jean Knox and husband Mark of Chico; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; his brother, Billy Mitchell and wife Alice of Roswell, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Jim Mitchell at DATCU in memory of Milo Mitchell which will be donated to the Local VFW.
