Melba Mae Anderson

Rhome ~ Melba Mae Anderson, 100, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 10, 2019, in Decatur.

Graveside is 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2019, at Aurora Cemetery, in Aurora.

Minister Michael Orr will officiate.

Melba was born on December 19, 1918, to Knox and Hilda Virginia (Huddleston) Hutchison in Newark. She was united in marriage to F.C. Reed. Melba retired as a teller for Fort Worth National Bank. She was a member of The Church of Christ in Saginaw, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, F. C. Reed; her husband, George Anderson; her sisters, Grace Lee Sharp, Hilda Faye Williams, Mary Francis Bell, Gladys Virginia Anderson, and Foy Magda Clark; her brothers, Jeff Hutchison, and Billy Joe Hutchison.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Patricia Rasbury of Boyd; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
