RHOME -- Melvin Bell, 54, a diesel mechanic for Stice Construction, went to be with our Lord, Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, in Decatur.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Melvin was born the son of Leroy and Doris Juanita (Irvine ) Bell on November 6, 1955 in Fort Worth,Texas. He married Joyce Dale Kelley on May 1,1997 in Fort Worth.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy Lee Bell.
Those left behind to cherish his memory: Wife, Joy of Rhome; Daughter, Amanda Leigh Bell of Dallas; stepchildren, Ray Hilburn, Nathan Hunter, Tera Lavender, and Daniel Hunter; 9 step-Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Anna Swallow and husband Roy of Newark, Charlotte Collins and husband Dale of Rhome; 2 brothers: Calvin Bell and wife Beverly of San Angelo, James Bell and wife Donna of Fort Worth; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
