Paradise ~ Michael Eugene Flowers, 66, retired Army National Guard, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 29, 2016 in Paradise.
Graveside service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at DFW National Cemetery. No set visitation.
Michael was born on January 21, 1950 to Harvey and Henrietta (Conner) Flowers in Athens, Texas. He was united in marriage to Jennge Carpenter on February 14, 1987 in Paradise. Michael proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for 20 years and retired as a sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Eugene Flowers; and his father-in-law, Jimmy Lloyd Carpenter.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Jennge Flowers of Paradise; his mother, Mary Flowers of Runaway Bay; his sons, Craig Flowers of Mabank and Stephen Flowers and wife Jody of Mabank; his granddaughter, Lauren Flowers; his grandson, Preston Flowers; his mother-in-law, Dean Carpenter; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
