Michael Harding Johnson

Runaway Bay ~ Michael Harding Johnson, 55, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael was born on May 11, 1968 to Harding and Carol (McCourt) Johnson in Kenedy, Texas. He was united in marriage to Brenda Lee Balkema on August 2, 1991 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at Texas A&M University. He served as the Vice President of Operations at Regional Management Corporation throughout Texas for the past 14 years. Michael was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, mentor, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Valentine, and nephew, Kevin Johnson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Brenda Johnson; his children, Kaitlyn Nicole Mouton and husband Trevor, Grant Thomas Johnson, and Michael Harrison Johnson all of Argyle; his brothers, Terry Johnson of Karnes City, James Johnson of Victoria, and Patrick Johnson of Kenedy; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
