Runaway Bay ~ Todd Reed, 49, a welder, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7th at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Dan Hunt will officiate. Pallbearers include Richard Brite, Charlie Reed, Glenn Reed, George Monsanto, Don Strickland, Casey Caraway, and Cody Caraway.
Todd was born on August 8, 1962 to Donald and Clara (Jones) Reed in Post, Texas. He was united in marriage to Barbara Hicks on April 12, 2002 in Montague, Texas. Todd graduated from Chico High School, owned Reed's Welding Service, volunteered at the Wise County Special Olympics and was a member of the Bridgeport Lions Club.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 10 years, Barbara Hicks Reed of Runaway Bay; his sons, Casey Caraway of Bridgeport, Cody Caraway of Runaway Bay, Dayne Reed of Runaway Bay, and Cooper Reed of Runaway Bay; his mother, Sue Reed of Chico; his brothers, Charlie Reed and wife Tammy of Keller and Glenn Reed and wife Pamela of Chico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wise County Special Olympics, 2105 16th Street, Bridgeport, Texas 76426.
