Crafton ~ Michael Ryan Ruddick, 14, a student, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Crafton.
Funeral is 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Crafton Baptist Church with burial in Crafton Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Tom Merritt will officiate. Pallbearers are Terry Hand, Wesley Ruddick, Curtis Buckner, Billy Garza, Jay Whetsell, and Scott Turner.
Michael was born November 11, 1996 to Noel and LeeAnn (Hand) Ruddick in Denton.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Noel and LeeAnn Ruddick of Chico; his sister, Whitney Buckner and husband Curtis of Chico; his grandparents, Jimmy and Anna Hand of Chico and Vernon and Shelba Ruddick of Alvord; his great grandmothers, Bonnie Hand of Chico and Clara Pate of Cut and Shoot, Texas; his niece, Mady Buckner of Chico; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Noel, LeeAnn, and Whitney and Jim and Anna as well as the rest of the family. Ryan was such an example for us all to follow in his strength and perseverance. Being in the comfort and warmth of our Lord is a safe and glorious place where he can now bask.
