Michael Atle Smith

Graveside memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2nd at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg, Texas with Reverend Gerre Joiner officiating.

Michael was born on March 1, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Lewis Edward and Anne Holden Smith. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of 19 and served for 9 years as an aircraft environmental system technician.

Left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Michelle Smith of Chico, Alicia Wood of Weatherford; mother, Anne Wheeler and husband, David of Decatur; sister, Athena Jones of Colorado; and brother, Steven Smith of Arlington.

Michael is preceded in death by his father.
