CHICO -- Michael Wayne Sparkman, 40, a disposal mechanic for Bridgeport Tank Trucks went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2009 in Chico.
Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Miller will officiate.
Michael was born on November 10, 1968, the son of Luther Leon and Doris Jean (Young) Sparkman, in Azle. He married Deyone Jones on January 29, 1999 in Bowie.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Judy Sparkman, and his brother, Christopher Sparkman.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his wife Deyone Sparkman of Chico; son: Michael Sparkman, Jr. of Chico; daughters: Brittany Jones and Tamara Sparkman, both of Chico; brother: Jackie Sparkman of Bridgeport; sisters: Cassandra Austin of Springtown, Cynthia Burris and husband Eddy of Conroe; mother-in-law: Rebekah Miller of Chico; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
