Michael Ray Taylor

Weatherford ~ Michael Ray Taylor, 76, went home to be with our Lord Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Weatherford, Texas.

Graveside is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Willow Point Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Military honors provided by the Wise County Veteran’s Group.

Dr. Charles Weatherbee will officiate.

Michael was born on January 31, 1944 to Aron and Viola (Polk) Taylor in Weatherford, Texas. He was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Allen on May 22, 1968 in Gibtown, Texas until her death December 23, 2017. Michael worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Sharon Kay Taylor.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his 2 sons, Michael Bryant “Bubba” Taylor and Matthew Paul Taylor and wife Mary Ruth both of Weatherford; 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor and fiancé Josh Wright and Kaylie Taylor and long-time boyfriend Trent Fraizer; and his sister, Judy Ard of Weatherford.
