Farmers Branch ~ Michael O. Wingert, 70, a retired orthopedic shoe repairman, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 28, 2019, in Farmers Branch.
Memorial service is 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum.
John Ritchie Johnson will officiate.
Michael was born on January 20, 1949, to Guy Elmond and Wilma (Taylor) Wingert in Palestine, Illinois. He was a member of The Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, John and Jim Wingert.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Wingert and wife Mandy of Decatur; his grandchildren, Hunter Wingert and Averi Wingert; his sister, Betty Jo Neaville of Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
