Michael Anthony Worley

Quitman ~ Michael Anthony Worley, 60, went to be with our Lord Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Tyler, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial in Aurora cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Brandon Geary will officiate. Pallbearers include Ryan Worley, Josh Hollis, Brandon Wagoner, Jeremy Balders, Jason Hall, and Royce Walker.

Michael was born August 5, 1959 to Bobby and Mary (Boyd) Worley in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage January 11, 2020 to Carol Friend in Ft. Worth, Texas. Michael graduated from Boswell High School. He was a retired construction superintendent, and a member of Merge Community Church in Azle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Worley of Quitman; his daughter, Robin Balders and husband Jeremy of Ft. Worth; his mother, Mary Worley of Ft. Worth; his brother, Eric Worley and wife Cabby of Ft. Worth; his sisters, Debra Hall and husband William of Bridgeport and Andrea Hollis of Watauga; his step-children, Misty, Royce and Kirbi; 9 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
