Bridgeport~ Michael Brandon Moyers, 38, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Decatur.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Cates Street Church of Christ with burial in Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.
Rev. Melvin Clay and Rev. Mike Wheat will officiate. Pallbearers are to include Chad White, Shane White, Kelly Boswell, Desni Townsend, Derek Bryn, Skylar Mathews, Weston Womack, Cameron Womack, Dean Stermer, Mathew Moyers, Ernie Cantrell, Cody Watts, Dennis Palmer, Yancey Underwood, Shawn Browning and Jonathan Holder.
Brandon was born on November 17, 1982 to Michael Moyers and Chryl Wood in Ft. Worth Texas. He was self-employed and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for many years as a lease broker in Wise County. Brandon was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and good friend to many who will be missed dearly by those that knew and loved him. Brandon loved spending time with his friends and family and especially cherished his children, Cooper and Mackenzie.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Ashley Denman of Bridgeport; his children, Cooper and Mackenzie; his father, Mike Moyers and wife Debbie of Bridgeport; his mother, Chryl Stevens of Ft. Worth; his brothers, Maclain Jobe and wife Heather of Bridgeport and Jarred Jobe and wife Cheryl of Las Colinas; his sisters, Amber Pierce of Louisiana and Amber Copeland of Ft. Worth; his grandfather Steven Gunta of Irving; his grandmother, Delores Wood of North Richland Hills; several nieces and nephews; numerous extended family members and many good friends that were like family.
