Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rev. Jerry Galloway will officiate.
Michael Patrick Madland was born on October 25, 1963 to Michael Jeffrey and Betty Barker Madland in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Sandy Stowers on November 22, 2013 in Bridgeport. Pat worked as a signalman for Union Pacific Railroad. He attended Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise. Some of his favorite hobbies were boating, fishing, and hunting. Pat loved being on the water spending time with his friends and most of all his family. Pat was a good man who never hesitated to help his friends and family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Sandy Madland; his sons, Luke Simmons and wife Mady, and Jake Simmons; his grandchildren, Aubree, Reese and Creed all of Bridgeport; his mother, Betty Gordon of Cedar Creek Lake; his brothers, twin brother, Chris Madland and wife Shari of Ft. Worth and Scott Eisen of Carrollton; Kyle Tate, who was like a son, of Bowie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
