In Loving Memory of Michelle Renee Whisenhunt (Shellenberger)

January 20, 1965 - April 2, 2024

Michelle Renee (Shellenberger) Whisenhunt, age 59, of Poolville, Texas, departed this earthly realm on April 2, 2024.

Born unto this world in Saint Joseph's, Missouri, Michelle triumphed as a light to all during her time amongst us. A devout matriarch, she leaves behind her cherished sons, Army Veteran Sgt First Class Dustin Shellenberger and Navy Chief Cody King.

Michelle was the much-beloved daughter of Dianna Browning and preceded in death by Edward Shellenberger. She was encircled by love through the companionship of her siblings, brother Mark Shellenberger and sister Sheri Jensen. Her life was defined by her magnanimous spirit, her capacity for boundless compassion, and her unfaltering propensity to prioritize the well-being of others above her own. Michelle's presence was ineffably radiant. Her dedication to the care and reverence of all creatures, great and small, was evident in her every endeavor.

The bereaved family has entrusted Hawkins Funeral Home, Decatur, with the somber duties of her Cremation. Those who wish to pay their respects may join a solemn assembly celebrating her life at 292 CO Rd 3743, Bridgeport, Texas.

Michelle's essence of tenderness and life of altruistic deeds shall indubitably endure within the hearts she touched. Her absence will be profoundly felt, yet her spirit is embraced with fond remembrance.

Grant her eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
