NEWARK -- Mickel Ray Spivey, 52, a machinist for J&L Tanks went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 in Tarrant County.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008 in Aurora Cemetery. Pastor L. Coomer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Christopher Laughlin, Bobby Spivey, Daniel Spivey, Thomas Russell, Sr., Manuel Mendoza, T.J. Russell, and Michael Bolton.
Mickel was born on June 28, 1956 in Whitesville, North Carolina to Paul and Glennie (Norris) Spivey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Randolph Spivey.
Left behind to cherish his memory are: wife, Mary Spivey of Newark; sons, Bobby Spivey and wife Lavonda of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Daniel Spivey and wife Asuka of Okinawa, Japan, and ChristopherLaughlin of Newark; daughters, Heather Russell and husband Tommy of Newark, Crystal Mendoza and husband Manual Sr., Starla Van Kirk and husband Solon of Weatherford, Amber Spivey of Bowie; 11 grandchildren, T.J., Savannah, Abigail, Jonathan, Lucas, Katie, Daiki, Lil Manual, Jayden, Kyle, and Gabriel; brothers, Ernest and Ervin Spivey,sisters, Christine Spivey, Stella Marple, Kay Bell; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
