Decatur ~ Miguel Enrique Ortiz, 59, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Miguel was born June 2, 1962 to Valentin and Guadalupe (Velazquez) Ortiz in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico. He was united in marriage December 27, 1982 to Juanita Segura in Eagle Pass, Texas. Miguel was a masonry and self-employed in the construction industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of over 38 years, Juanita Ortiz of Decatur; his daughters, Nancy Zamora and husband Samuel of Decatur, Jacqueline Ortiz of Decatur, Carolina Lujan and husband Jacob of Decatur, and Virginia Juanita Ortiz of Decatur; his son, Marcial Enrique Ortiz and wife Abilene of Decatur; 8 grandchildren, Samuel, Anthony, Nickolas, Bella, Jocelyn, Jeniya, Madilene, and Victor; his parents, Valentin and Guadalupe Ortiz; 2 sisters; 7 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
