Mike was preceded in death by his father, Bonnie Foster Brown. Survivors: Wife, Lillie of Bridgeport; daughters, Christi Oates and husband, Pat of Bridgeport, Haley Brown of Decatur; granddaughter, Taylor Oates; mother, Marie Brown of Paradise; brothers, Tommy, Jim, Gary and Rusty Brown; sisters, Barbara McDaniel, Cherry "Sissy" Steagall, Carolyn "Tiny" Akin, Rayanne Gentry; numerous nieces and nepheews. .
