Alvord: Mike Watts, 68, of Alvord, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial in Jonestown Cemetery. Reverend Bill Cleveland officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Cody Watts, Michael Watts, Kyle Pace, Casey McKelvain, Joe Griffith, Sam Griffith, DeRoy Bennett and Jamie Dickey. Honorary Pallbearers are Parry Patino, Dr. William Lewis, Bobby McGee, and Phillip Nivens.
Mike was born December 31, 1940 to Virgil Odell and Mildred Irene Claborn Watts in Wise County. He married Naomi Ruth Haynes on July 26, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mike was a long time dairyman, farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Wise County Veteran
