Marshfield, MO: Mildie Elizabeth Keith, 94, a retired seamstress, formerly of Boyd, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Missouri.
Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. The Reverend Terry Phillips to officiate.
Mildie was born August 20, 1916 to Claude and Cordia (Collins) Griffin in Washington, Arkansas. She married Marshel Clifton Keith on August 19, 1936 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mildie was a former member of the Trinity Baptist Church and a 50 year plus member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant grandchild; her son-in-law, Charles Thompson; 2 half-sisters, Opal Griffin Burks, and Ruby Griffin Bryan; and 4 brothers, Homer, Ray, Harley and D.B. Griffin.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Margaret Keith Thompson of Rome, Georgia, Brenda Keith Seay and husband Bill of Biloxi, Mississippi; her sons, Marshel Keith and wife Freda of Marshfield, Missouri, Kenneth Daniel Keith of Marshfield, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
