Alvord ~ Mildred Frances Haney, 96, a retired clerical worker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Alvord.
Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church Alvord with burial at Alvord Cemetery.
Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate. Pallbearers are Casey Carlon, Tim Edridge, David Goodwin, Eddie Goodwin, Ron Parnell and John Drevicky.
Mildred was born July 7, 1921 to William and Nannie (Bates) Greenwood in Alvord. She was united in marriage to Charles "Chet" Haney on January 7, 1946 in Alvord. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church Alvord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Barbara Shephard; her grandchildren, Robert Macklin of Bakersfield, California, Monica Gahagan of Alvord, and Jack Martino of Bakersfield, California; her 5 great grandchildren; her 16 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
