Fort Worth: Mildred Irish, 97, formerly of Cottondale, went to be with Lord, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Rockwall, Texas.
Memorial graveside is 6 p.m. Sunday, June 24th at Cottondale Cemetery with The Right Reverend Sam B. Halsey, retired bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest, Texas will officiate. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25th at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Worth.
Mildred was born on October 10, 1914 in Cottondale, Texas to W.E. and Eva (Fletcher) Livengood. She was united in marriage to Charles "Charlie" Irish. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Spencer Livengood.
Survived by all who adored her especially her daughter, Palmer Ragsdale and husband Kirk of Rockwall; son, Van Phipps and wife Rebecca Phipps of Colleyville; grandchildren, Jenny Ragsdale Darley of Dallas, Luke Ragsdale of Forney, Cole, Emily and Lucy Ragsdale of Rockwall; Will and Vivian Phipps of Colleyville; godson, Arthur Plant of Tempe, Arizona; goddaughter, Pamela Macklin and husband Peter of London, England; and their children Andrew, Jonathan and Christopher Macklin.
