PARADISE -- Mildred Moody Kelley, 94, a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, in North Richland Hills, surrounded by her family. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Paradise. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Mildred was born March 17, 1912, in Paradise. She served alongside her late husband of 71 years, Henry, in many school, church and civic activities in the Paradise community. She was recently recognized as the longest continuous member of First Baptist Church in Paradise, where she served faithfully. Survivors: Son, Richard Kelley and wife, Patsy, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Mary Lou Urban and husband, Harvey, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Russell and Bryana Kelley, Kim and Olin Harrington, Lori and William Howard McDowell, and Kelli and Rich Bahner; great-grandchildren, Marshall, Zane, Chandler, Kaylie, Bella, Legacy, Raylen and Sterling; brother-in-law, C.F. Kelley and wife, Edith, of Richland Hills; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends, including those at Wellington Retirement Center.
