Decatur ~ Mildred Joe Tredenick, 89, of Decatur, formerly of Gainesville, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Decatur with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Dr. Brian Bosworth will officiate. Pallbearers include Kody Klement, Karl Klement, Sam Tredenick, Brandon Strom, Don Hobbs and Richard Connett.
Joe was born on October 9, 1928 to Elby Ellis and Mildred (Keyton) Romine in Pratt, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Robert LeRoy Tredenick on January 15, 1948 in Cullison, Kansas. They were married 45 years till his passing in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; her sisters, Lydial Wood, Nadine Bender and Gladys Nease and her grandson, Brandon Scott Burkhart
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Denise Connett and husband Richard of Lindsay, Jody Hobbs and husband Don of Valley View, Kim Klement and husband Karl of Decatur; her son, Sam Tredenick of Midland; her grandchildren, Courtny Strom and husband Brandon of Ft. Worth and Kody Klement of Ft. Worth; her great grandson, Bennett Strom of Ft. Worth; her sister, Virginia Pope and husband Eugene of Ft. Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Memorials may be made to Solaris Hospice or the charity of your choice.
