Milton Edgar Sisk

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Alvord, Texas with Brother Bill Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow the service at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kenny Boner, Landon Hankins, Steve Hankins, Scott Kelsey, Michael Foster, David Sisk and Jerimy Sisk.

Milton was born May 2, 1941, in Alvord, Texas, to Arvil Edgar and Frances Evelyn (Grissom) Sisk. He married Judy Gale Neal on August 15, 1960 in Alvord. Milton worked on the assembly line at General Motors in Arlington and retired in 2002. He attended Decatur Church of Church, but was a longtime member of the Alvord Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Judy Sisk of Decatur; two daughters, Misti Tibbels and husband, Charlie of Decatur, Tori Sisk of Keller; two grandchildren, Zack and Marlee Tibbels; brother, Arvil Sisk of Alvord; sisters, Wilma Hunt of Arlington, Lois Boner of Bowie; and mother-in-law, Rosa Lee Neal of Decatur.

Milton is preceded in death by his parents, son, Keith Sisk; grandson, Jaxon Tibbels and brother, David Sisk.

Mrs. Sisk,

I met you and your husband about 9-10 years ago at North Davis Church of Christ at your daughter's, Tori, PEP Christmas party. You and your family were very gracious to my husband and children as I helped out with the festivities she had planned. Since that time, while working with Tori I've heard so many family stories over the years it's like your an extended family of my own.

You and husband raised an exceptional daughter and so I know you both are exceptional people.There's a lot of love over there in Alvord, Texas and that love has touched many people. Even ones that met you only briefly at moments over the years.

My heartfelt condolences to you, Tori and your whole family.
