Greenwood: Miranda Lee Florida, 94, a rancher, went to be with our Lord, Monday, November 26, 2012 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 30th at Greenwood Baptist Church with Reverend Tracy Epting officiating. Interment: Sycamore Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Joe Bert Roberts, Jim Bob Roberts, James Black Wood, Damon Red, Joe Walker, Butch Lavender and Jimmy Wilson.
Ms. Florida was born December 26, 1917 in Joe Bailey Community to Birt and Nannie (Boydston) Roberts. She was united in marriage to R E Florida, Jr. on April 5, 1952.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, R E Florida, III of Greenwood; daughter, Judy Florida of Cleora, Oklahoma; and granddaughter, Miranda Fields of Oklahoma City.
Ms. Florida was preceded in death by her husband, son, Tommy Glenn Florida and two brothes, A. J. and N. B. Roberts.
