Irving: Mireya Gonzalez, 17, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Dallas.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Manuel Rodriguez will officiate. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Mario Alberto Fuentes, Edgar Gonzalez, Armin Gonzalez, Eleazar Hernandez, Armin Gonzales Jr. and Eric Gonzalez.
Mireya was born December 27, 1995 to Armin and Petra (Lopez) Gonzalez in Decatur. She was a student at McArthur High School in Irving, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Petra Hernandez and husband Eleazar of Irving; father, Armin Gonzalez of Irving; three sisters, Yomayra, Yasmin Elizabeth, Genesis Adriana; brother, Armin Gonzalez Jr. all of Irving; grandparents, Genaro and Dominga Lopez of Big Lake and Maria Olivares of Chico; and great-grandmother, Teresa Unate of Mexico; other relatives and a host of friends.
Mireya was preceded in death by her grandfather, Adolfo Olivares.
