PARADISE -- Miriam E. Vise, 73, a retired home health coordinator, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2010, in Bridgeport.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Bob Thompson will officiate.
Miriam Elizabeth Vise was born on December 26, 1938, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Melton) Smith, in Opelika, Alabama.
She married James Terry Vise on May 18, 1975, in Durant Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, and four sisters: Louise, Fran, Jeanette, and Chris.
Those left behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Cathryn Miller and husband, Richard of Paradise, Brenda Robson and husband Scott of Dallas; sons, Samuel Robertson, Jr. of Paradise, Bryan Robertson and wife Patsy of Paradise, James Matthew Vise of Fort Worth; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Marge Abernathy and husband Frank of Sherman; brother, Kenneth Smith and wife, Faye of Jonesboro, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
