Boyd: Deana Tharp, 74, a machinist, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 1 P.M. Friday at the Hawkins Funeral Chapel with burial in Eternal Oaks Cemetery, Runaway Bay. The Rev. Michael Wiltcher to officiate.
Deana was born May 7, 1936 to Bruce and Mary Lucille (Williams) Young in Deport, Texas. She married Earl Tharp on October 28, 1969, in Denton, Texas. Deana was a machinist at Archie Franks Machinist in Southlake and a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sarah Guess.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Earl Tharp of Boyd; her brother, Bill Young of San Angelo; her sisters, Kayla Daniel of Fort Worth, Nancy Gunter of Clovis, New Mexico, and Laquita Liles of Haskell; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
