Mona Fern (England) Mann

Decatur ~ Mona Fern Mann, 101, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will include Robert England, Terry England, Danny Taylor, Preston Pruett, Ryan Davis, and Joey Laremore. Honorary Pallbearers will include Clayton Taylor, Jase Stout, Evan Davis, Dwayne Hill, Davin Beaver and Reg Hill.

Mona was born November 28, 1919 to Felix Joseph and Dannie Rebecca (Brewer) England in Wise County. She was united in marriage October 16, 1947 to Weldon B. Habern until his death October 12, 1971. Mona later married J.W. Mann on March 24, 1990, until his death in January of 1991. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Dannie England; her husband Weldon B. Habern, and husband, J.W. Mann; her brother Joe England, and 2 sisters, Marie Hill and Alma Allen.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Nina Robinson of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
