Monika Lee Cockrell

Private graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 28th at Alvord Cemetery.

Monika was born August 21, 1956 in Childress, Texas to Otto and Dana Eubank Pietrie. She married Donald Cockrell on January 24, 1995 in Midland, Texas. She graduated from Midland College with a degree in nursing and was employed by Wise Regional Health Systems in Decatur.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Donnie Cockrell of Alvord; son, Jamie Moore and wife, Ashley of Denton; two daughtes, Magen McVeigh and husband, Matthew of Fort Worth, Kambrah Cockrell of League City, Texas; brother, Richard Eubank; two sisters, Danelle Fleckenstein and Kelli Bulls; seven grandchildren, Maci, Courtnie, Jonah, Aidan, Mason, Kade and Kenley.
