Monte Ray Malone

Runaway Bay ~ Monte Ray Malone, 85, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Weatherford, Tx.

Monte was born July 12, 1937  to Houston and Ruby (Lambert) Malone in Lansing, Michigan. He was joined in marriage to Jean Audrey Anderson on June 16, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan. Monte worked as a production manager at Tranter Manufacturing in Wichita Falls, Texas for 40 plus years. He was a member of the Wise County Antique Auto Club, Chisolm Trail Tractor Club, and Grace Fellowship Church. Monte loved building cars, fishing and hunting. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruby Malone; his sister, Loree Johnson; and his brother, H.R. Malone.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Jean; 3 children, Debra Malone, Vern Malone, and Kristy Kamp and husband Thomas; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Kagen, Kendi, and Sierra; his great-grandson, Derek; 2 sisters, Janice Penton and Shirley Ashley; other relatives and a host of friends.
