BOYD -- Monte F. Todd, 78, a retired machinist for General Dynamics, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Springtown. Burial: Garvin Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. Officiating: Rev. Hal Kincaid. Pallbearers: Larry Johnstone, Rusty Johnstone, John Jackson, Monte Jackson, Darrel Neely, and Craig Harrison.
Born in Nov. 29, 1928, to William Ray and Lorene Rust Todd in Ranger, Monte married Dorothy Jo Read on June 1, 1962, in Fort Worth. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Patty; and sisters, Trophy and Elizabeth.
Survivors: Sons, Lynn Todd and wife, Charlotte of Fritch, Jesse Pierrard of Fort Worth, James Davis of Azle and Terry Davis and wife, Christy of Crowley; daughter, Janice Woodyard and husband, Mike of Ohio; grandchildren, Jacob, Elizabeth and Nicole; sisters, Mary Jane Hale, Jean Griffith and Connie Johnstone.
