Decatur: Murry Wayne Bradford Spann, 56, a carpenter, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, April 15th at Grace Baptist Church of Decatur. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include John French, Bart Wiley, Jamie Christian, Bill Lewis Bryan Brown, and Steven Bermedez.
Murry was born April 9, 1955 in Sherman, Texas to James Louis Bradford, Jr. and Anna Merl Reeves. He was adopted by Joseph O'Dell Spann. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur.
Left behind to cherish his memory are mother, Anna Spann of Decatur; sisters; Eva North and husband, Russell of Decatur and Diana Spann of Dallas; brother, Leland Spann all of Decatur; nephews, Shawn Grundy and wife, Brenda of Decatur and Cole Spann of Ponder; great nephews London and Hunter Grundy of Decatur.
