Nancy Lois (Rickman) Beaty

Boyd ~ Nancy Lois Rickman Beaty, 93, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 15, 2021 in Boyd.

Graveside service is 12:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Beaty Private Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends 9-11 AM at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Phillip Yoder to officiate. Pallbearers include Brandon Beaty, Eric Beaty, Marcus McBride, Kyler Allcorn, Dale Williams, and Eric Benavides.

Nancy was born on March 3, 1927 to William Edward and Alice Maude (Buck) Rickman in Wise County. She was united in marriage to William E. Beaty on May 16, 1942 in Decatur, Texas. Nancy was a member of Briar Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 grandchildren, Larry and Laura Morris; her great-grandchild, Alannah Belle Henson; 2 brothers, Bill and Jim Rickman; and 3 sisters, Edith Riley, Edna Gant, and JoAnn Yoder.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Kay Stephens of Boyd, Judith Ann Westmoreland of Azle, William Don Beaty and wife Christine of Boyd, and Cathy Denise Markham and husband Bill of Boyd; 53 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
